The Color has been created using Bahemia leaves, sometimes known to be called Pink Orchid tree which grows locally in the Byron Hinterland.

Angela has steamed the Bahemia leaves on to the silk fabric, then over washed with a sponge of Indio Paste ( from India ) and Garina leaf Paste. An extremely time-consuming method to create this original design on silk. This is the best seller, and it’s not hard to see why. Absolutely stunning!
